Just looking for recommendations re: printers and CD burners for my late 2014 (and up to date) Mac Mini.

For printers, it all depends upon your use and budget. Just get a Mac-compatible printer (most are) that mmets you needs and budget.
Thanks. A good first step. I should have been more clear that my needs are basic. I only burn CDs and, for a printer, I don't do photos (glossy paper), labels, etc. I do, however, need scan capability (for e-mail). (As you can tell, I'm not technically sophisticated. )
Color or only black and white?
USB? Network? Wofof?
If B&W then you can get a laser multifunction printer.
Inject ones can cost less initially but ink costs and dries out if you do not use it often.
I have an USB Brother B&W laser printer which is only printer.
I also have an wifi/network Epson Work Force 845 inkjet multifunction printer which I really one use for scanning.
Actually, pretty much any USB CD/DVD drive will work. Stick
with name brand products from LG, Samsung, Sony, etc. Some
very cheap "off brands" may work but won't last.
Personally, I would stick with some HP all-in-one. Although Canon and
Epson are very good printers, it seems HP maintains OS support longer
for their printers than the others.

HP is making at least some of their ink cartridges proprietary, preventing you from using third-party inks.
